LACROSSE

Darien kept its perfect season in tact as they beat Greenwich 11-6 in the FCIAC lacrosse championship on Friday night.

Danbury works hard to get into the state lacrosse tournament, beating Shelton in the qualifying round Friday.

 

BASEBALL

Notre Dame of Fairfield beats Pomperaug to win the SWC baseball title.

Trumbull will battle Fairfield Warde in the FCIAC championship on Satursday. Scott Ericson ptrumbullreviews the title game.

VOLLEYBALL

Staples lost its first game of the year to Ridgefield High School. That was the last time they would lose this season. The Wreckers ran the table and beat the Tigers on Friday for the FCIAC title.

SOFTBALL

Seymour High School rules the softball diamond in the NVL. They beat Torrington 2-1 for its third league title in the last four years.
