Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton just admitted to reporters that he turned down offes to be the lieutenant governor/running mate for Tom Foley of Greenwich and Oz Griebel of Simsbury, before accepting the offer from Lt. Gov. Mike Fedele within the last 48-to-72 hours.
Not to be outdone by Fedele’s announcement a few minutes ago that Boughton will be his running mate heading into the Republican gubernatorial convention this weekend, Foley has made a cryptic announcement via email that he will unveil his running mate today.
