Marsh Winces at Q Poll Exclusion

Tom Marsh, the Chester first selectman who is on the November gubernatorial ballot at the Independent Party candidate, who was absented from this morning’s Quinnipiac University Poll, issued this release this morning:

“Chester, Connecticut — September 15, 2010 — Independent Party gubernatorial candidate Tom Marsh was conspicuous in his absence in the recently released Quinnipiac poll on Connecticut’s gubernatorial race. Marsh states “While my exclusion was not unexpected, it is unacceptable”. Even Doug Schwartz’s acknowledged that “The key to deciding the governor’s race are independent voters.” Yet the Independent Party candidate was not a choice.

Though Marsh was excluded from the most recent polling, the number of gubernatorial debates and forums he has been invited to participate in continues to increase. Yesterday Marsh received confirmation that he will be included in the gubernatorial forum focusing on tourism jobs, to be held at the Hartford Convention Center on September 29th. Tom is now included in a total of 10 debates/forums to be held between now and November 2nd.
