Earlier in the week, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy said he would try to visit the Occupy Hartford people around the corner from the Capitol. Asked by the Blogster Thursday whether he had gotten to meet them, Malloy said he tried. “I haven’t been there,” he said. “Actually, this happens to be true. I was coming back the other night and I was prepared to stop and they weren’t there. I think they had a rally someplace else. All of the tents were dark and there was nobody there. So I had time in my schedule to speak to them and there was no one to talk to.”
