DiNardo slams McMahon for violating federal election rules

The Federal Elections Commission says that Linda McMahon, the U.S. Senate candidate from Greenwich, violated the law when she appeared in the Make-a-Wish ad. Nancy DiNardo of Trumbull, chairwoman of the Democratic State Central Committee: “The FEC has made it crystal clear that Linda McMahon broke federal law when she appeared in an advertisement for Make-a-Wish and did not report it or include any sort of disclaimer.  Her decision to disregard the law in order to try and score political points speaks volumes about the kind of politics she represents. Connecticut voters have already once rejected her shoddy politics and disturbing record as a CEO where she got rich marketing sex and violence to children and McMahon shouldn’t be surprised when they reject her again.”

The FEC is not expected to penalize McMahon, though.
