Governor’s Sandy Hook Commission will talk about autism spectrum today, a subject near to chairman’s heart

Hamden Mayor Scott Jackson, chairman of Gov. Malloy’s Sandy Hook Advisory Commission, has an older brother with autism, 44, who still lives at home with his mother in Hamden. Jackson is concerned that after evidence of school shooter Adam Lanza’s autism spectrum diagnosis, many parents and family members of those with autisim are concerned “that they’ve been tarred by the brush” of Lanza’s December 14, 2012 rampage. The commission starts at 10:00 in the Legislative Office Building.
