If he can pull off the nomination for governor, it would be just another step on the ladder for a guy with humble roots. Perhaps stressing family values and an American dream success story is the key to standing out among a slew of jobs and business oriented speeches. It certainly is unique for this year’s fare. For a first time convention-goer and rookie at this kind of stuff, I appreciate that his themes are at the very least a refreshing change of pace.
