With the polls closed in Greenwich, the GOP had a sizable lead over the Dems in primary voting.
As of 8 p.m. in Greenwich, according to preliminary results, 3,259 GOP voters cast ballots to 2,025 Dems. That’s 5,299 out of 22,574 registered Dems and GOPers, or about 23 percent. Results for District 5 between 7-8 p.m. were unavailable.
Overall, District 8 (Central Middle School) saw the most voter participation with 647 voters for the day while District 3 (Western Middle School) lagged behind at 150 voters.
