President Obama again made his case for a federal minimum wage of $10.10 per hour during his visit to Connecticut today. So how does that compare to how things are now?

An important note: On Tuesday, ahead of Obama’s visit, New London raised the minimum wage for its municipal workers to $10.10 per hour. Mayor Daryl Justin Finizio says the change will cost about $13,250 a year.
