What was the right thing??? Stepping on The Constitution is not the right thing. Remember it was a severely mentally ill person who did the horrific act at Newtown. It was also the inability of school administrators to effectively deal with it that could not stop it. If another Adam Lanza is out there and another Nancy Lanza mindlessly ignores the monster underneath then it will happen again. The act was the horror not the tool.
