    Nights like this, I feel bad for satellite folks. At least we stuck-with-the-EE folks can (eventually) see these things. Even if it takes an hour. When I called back, the second customer service rep was a lovely woman named Shaheedah. (No sarcasm this time; I will ask for this woman from now on.) She was on the ball… The computer told her to check the serial number on my box, and she herself realized before it was out of her mouth that this was going to do no good. She was almost apologetic for what she had to tell me: That some glitch getting the signal from Jersey to Connecticut was forcing them to direct the MSG2 feed to subscribers individually. That was 8:19. She told me to expect something by 8:30. She was off only by a couple of minutes, and the signal reached us with the game somewhere around the two- or three-minute mark of the second. By that time, of course, both the Rangers and Islanders were in trouble…

    Just got home to watch the games on DirecTV and I am forced to watch the Islanders game with Rick Jenneret calling the game and the Ranger game is only on Center Ice package.
