Many of us have been wondering, questioning, and are a bit upset that there’s still no word on Vinny. Many of us 5-year season ticket holders were at the team photo event (bright and early) yesterday morning and some people had the opportunity to take the locker room tour and noticed Vinny’s locker was completely empty. Many of us thought he was due back with the team yesterday as was alluded to briefly in one of your postings. I know things change but we were surprised he still wasn’t back.
The team finally woke up in the 3rd period. The guys definitely didn’t perform well in the 1st period and looked a bit better in the 2nd. It may have been that early morning wake up call to be at the Arena for 9 am yesterday morning for the team photo with the 5-year season ticket holders. Those guys couldn’t wait to get out of there yesterday morning to go back to sleep and get ready for the last afternoon game.
It was nice to see Trent Hunter at the game and partake in the autograph session after the game. Never saw a long line like that for autographs after a game. Definitely a treat to have Trent there and more of a treat to ask him to sign for us.
And Mike, as always, I thoroughly enjoy reading your features in the paper and of course your blogs. You are definitely asset to the team, fans, and readers. Keep up the good work.
