Tossup? I think you’re just being politically correct. I might be a homer, but these two teams are on different curves. WB is a team that started at the top, slid back a bit, held on and worked to maintain. BST is a team that started at the bottom and learned how to get better until they lost the majority of their team to callups. Next week they get those guys plus two All-Stars back and add them to a team of major prospects, young stars, and solid vets. I think that line by line next week this series isn’t really a tossup at all.
Of course, being best on paper doesn’t win you anything.
