Hi Michael,
My son and I attended Ryan O’Marra’s 1st AHL game in Philadelphia (we saw each other outside the Spectrum). Ryan scored 2 goals on his only 2 shots. He followed that with a goal next night Sat. – (his home debut) on his only shot then. On Sunday, he scored again, but had 4 shots. I’m not sure if he scored the goal on his first shot or not. Do you recall, or is there a record on a rookie scoring (3)goals on (at least) his first (3) shots as a professional in the AHL?
thanks, Len
p.s. Enjoying the coverage on the Tigers all year and hopefully a long way into the playoffs.
mike, will you be able to interview any Pens? That would be cool to see what they say.
are you in WBS already? Are you staying there straight through? I was going to go on Saturday but I can’t.
Out for the weekend? That doesn’t sound good. Sure, we’re stacked five lines deep on offense, but this kid adds some defensive effort from the forward spot that this team needs.
I guess we’ll have to see what Comeau’s got left in the tank and it’s good that we’ve got Tsimikalis, Thompson, and even Aquino with the team.
