    Medals are nice, though. These might not be the “big” medals, but I’d take ’em. (A medal would have been a fine accomplishment for this U.S. team. Losing to Sweden isn’t embarrassing… Losing 6-0 isn’t pleasant…)

    And the loose ends, sadly, made the end of Invasion (and since the CW sked is out, it sounds like that is the end) both sadder and cooler. Does the Smallville/Supernatural pairing work for you, Andy? I used to watch Smallville sometimes, but the 8 p.m. Thursday on an off network didn’t work for me… That show was awesome when it was on, but the shows in between the big ones? Slower than molasses.

    Medals? We don’t need no stinkin’ medals! We just need to close our eyes and turn on the Miracle DVD and all will be well.

    Do you think that Raffi will bring the Stanley Cup with him to his golf tournament?

    As for Invasion (the best show cancelled this season), the ending was fantastic, but it left a lot of room for more. Maybe the rumors that the CW is trying to get Shaun Cassidy to bring it to their “new” network might come true. Can you imagine a more enjoyable evening then watching Supernatural and Invasion back to back each week?
