    I wouldn’t.

Oops, forgot about the good ol’ Pennsylvania deer! Yeah, just don’t drive at NIGHT!!!!!! And that puck in the stands could very well have had an impact on the game tonight. Would have liked to see Chris Drury go for the Stanley, but now we’re definitely going for Raffi and the Oilers (will we ever forgive the Whalers for leaving us?).

One of my buddies is convinced my brother (the self-same TLP that rode along to Houston and San An) was sent up under RICO act. He is, in fact, free and workin’. Place of employment here closed and got moved to Joliet… So he went.

We didn’t get out to the prisons. But the state pen is not far from his apartment. On the map, the state pen is a big, blank space in his hometown.

    Poconos? Pennsylvania? Drive? 🙂

Hang on… TLP… is that the same TLP that went road trippin’ with us down in Texas during the 02-03 season? What’s he doing in Joliet (and was I the only one that thought he was in prison when I first read it)?

As for Raffi, I think I’m subconsciously rooting against the Whale tonight on the idea that it would be easier to get to Buffalo to catch a Raffi SCF game. Of course I expect that bubble to burst when the Canes are up a few goals in the third and my son is screaming ‘ER-IC STAAAAAAAL’ while running around giving everyone high fives…. but who knows. I was wrong about Portland.

Thanks Mike. Very interesting reading. Now I know why we vacation in the Poconos, only two hours away by CAR! Hope you have more fun at some Bluefish games!!!
