I’ve got another (probably better) choice from Marshall’s past that could be an assistant coach. Joe Ferras played with him at Plattsburgh and it now the head coach of the Amarillo Gorillas. I’ve decided to change my previous guess to him.
dan marshall is a Wang boy. Smith had no say.
Ok. I’m going back to bed. My guess on your hint at an assistant coach is Craig Barnett. Looking at guys from Plattsburgh he’s the only one I see with any kind of serious coaching experience (since he’s Becker College’s head coach right now). Barnett was a goalie too, so that will be cool to have an assistant with experience between the pipes.
My guess is that your Nighthawks reference is Chris Panek, but guessing your assistant coaching reference is tough since I can’t seem to find any Islander relationships.
