Don’t kid yourself. Our guys aren’t that valuable. The deal would have brought back Radek Bonk and Mike Komisarek. Probably won’t happen as the Habs are backing away now and trying to get Nokelainen.
Who would we get in return? The whole Montreal team?
Actually, it looks like Sean is gone for good, but not to Lokomotiv. Montreal is going to get him if there is still time for him to get out of Russia, sign a one way deal with the Islanders and get traded to the Habs (along with two other former BST players Jeremy Colliton and Radek Martinek). One even uglier possibility is that if Sean is stuck in Russia then Ryan O’Marra might replace him in that deal.
Grebeshkov has been on there for about a month, actually; they just added Bergenheim, Artukhin and Chouinard to that space. He’s gone for at least this year.
Oddly enough, Grebeshkov’s name’s on there, too. Any word on him?
I have trouble with English…..
