Bonvie deserves his night EVERYWHERE!
People can say what they want about him, but he knew his role. He provided grit and character for any of his teams whenever he hit the ice, not to mention entertaining. In my opinion, if he played for Bridgeport, the fans would have embraced and adored his style with ease, AND probably would have elected him Mayor. He’s an Eric Godard – type player and we all know what happened to the Sound Tigers after Eric left. I wish him all life’s best in retirement and thanks for many memorable games!
