Mike, what number did form New Haven Nighthawk Warren Holmes wear…no cheating..
I knew Ricky was one but had no clue on the second guy. Thanks Andy! I was trying hard to figure the second one out.
The first guy to ever wear #1 was Ricky. He wore it for a few games to start season one before switching to his real number 29.
The second guy to have the number (and amazingly some lucky people bought real Rick DiPietro game worn jerseys for only $200 and $210 at the end of the season because they had this guy’s name on the back) was Dan Lombard (former Yale goalie that we signed as an emergency backup).
