    Mike a station is reporting Kyle Okposo is about the leave Minnesota and report to the Islanders after the WJC.

    Any confirmation?

    How many hats did you throw, Jack?

    In any case, hat performance on the few hat tricks we’ve had at home games has been pretty lame except for the Torres one, but we were up against another problem on Sunday afternoon, a slow announcer. I know in 107 we weren’t completely sure that it was Tambellini’s goal so a couple people took out hats and then waited a minute (but didn’t see others go on the ice) and then play resumed before any goal announcement. One hat eventually was thrown during the star announcement.

    In WBS they have a display of hats from hat tricks.

    He’s basically not allowed to sweat right now. (Seriously.) If I didn’t write “at least three weeks” last week, that’s what I meant to write, and I haven’t heard anything different.

    Bentivoglio was watching practice this morning, and Morency was hanging out, too, and looked at Bentivoglio and said, “Now you know what I’m going through.”

    I think in Philly (NHL) I saw a large display of hats in the lobby. That was about 5 years ago.
