    i thought the islanders would’ve had a little pull in signing him, since he’s a local guy. o well can’t sign them all even though chicago doesn’t need him as much as we do, since theyre already loaded with good young players and prospects.

    It helps when your team is still playing in mid-April. Not much to offer a guy when you don’t have any playoff games year after year.
