This has been Shelton’s weakness that I have noticed since I have been watching them. They have a difficult time hitting the off speed pitch. Today was a kid who mixed his speeds very well. There closest games that they have played up to today was against Springdale. New Hampshire played just about a perfect game. It was nice to see the fans turned out to see this game today. Crowd was estimated at just under 8000. Not bad for 12yo playing baseball.

    Good Luck in Williamsport.

  2. Mr Fornabaio,

I guess the big question from here is will the Ct Post allow you to cover these games and travel to the Western Conference games as you did in year one.

Everyone losses unless your on the beat covering all these games. It would be a good opportunity for your editor to send you to training camp also which includes a stop in Summerside.

Can something be worked out with the Sound Tigers where you can travel with them for camp and these games?

    More coverage, everyone wins.
    Thank You

Wow!! That was exciting. I’m guessing a lot more exciting then Shelton expected. Been a long time since a CT team’s been to Williamsport. Now quick, someone teach these kids to hit a curveball.
