maybe we should be asking gordon about the 1-2-2 or 1-1-1-2 w/ a multiple goal lead. system looks great for coughing up 3rd period leads.
Drew Fata traded to Sens!!
All we did was gain the red line and dump the puck in their zone in the 3rd. we had hardly any pressure and they were able to skate right up to our blue line…
Anon: ‘Cause it’s their system and they’re sticking to it. And Capuano has a point: If they put away the chances they’ve had to put teams away, it’s not an issue.
JB: What kind of forecheck is that?
I think the header is the best to describe it.
can we ask why w/ a multi goal lead were not moving to a more defensive 1-2-2 or even a 1-1-1-2 instead of sticking w/ the 2-1-2 and exchanging scoring opportunites w/ the other team? seems like a lesson learned this weekend would be when there is a multi goal lead maybe play a bit more defensively.
According to this, it’s not as easy as it sounds.
