   Leases, like records, are made to be broken. Still, my hunch (all it is) is that the Islanders wouldn’t be the ones looking to go into St. John’s. (If the Lighthouse fails, all bets are off in all directions.)

   And meanwhile, who says they’re thinking of signing vets?

   According to what I read, the team has a pretty long lease with the arena. Not sure where I got that, but I know it was somewhere recently.

   Mike – Supposedly Nate Thompson is out? On our message board it was mentioned. If this is the case they were thinking of signing a free agent or vet on a PTO. Think they would do that or go with more kids from UTAH. The name mentioned was Shane Willis. Personally I saw Shane play his rookie year and seemed to only produce when Byron Ritchie was around. I don’t think he would be a good fit here.

   Why don’t they just end Pascal’s misery and send him to Utah. Fritz should get a call up for Flyers game.

   The Post won’t spring for a trip to Canada? So I take it Texas is out as well?
