    I wouldn’t be surprised if it were just a paper transaction since they don’t play at home till Tuesday against the rangers.

    I just saw that they sent Trevor Smith back to Bridgeport. That’s ashame, he just scored his first goal.

    That would be terrible at the present time.You have to hope he will retire in the near future or u will be paying him for 20 years or so on a buy out

    A player serving a minor or even a major penalty is still eligible to go in the shootout. The only players ineligible are those who’ve been assessed a game misconduct or a match penalty.

    Another question regarding penalties in OT. If it goes to the shootout and a player still has time left on his penalty at the end of the sudden death 5 min OT, is he ineligible so participate in the shootout? Houston had 2 guys with penalties at the end of the 5 min OT.

    all penalites are posted half of the actual call. The player still gets the full minutes in his stats.
