    The reason why Mannino was called up over Lawson is quite simple. From what I have been told, Mannino has a NHL contract and Lawson does not. It is silly to give the guy a NHL contract to sit on the bench. Now if both were needed, well then he probably would get the contract.

    Mike, do you think the Islanders would pick up Curtis Sanford who was just waved to join Dubie?

    Lease: yes, another 12 years or so. Which would have done them a lot of good in 2004.

    But again, I think there’s no reason to panic here, Lighthouse or not.

    I’d think that if any franchise is getting relocated soon, it’s probably Phoenix considering they’re going bankrupt. But just my 2 cents
