I really enjoy reading your posts. They are informative, factual, and somewhat entertaining. But … I just read an article in the local paper regarding this game (yeah, a little behind) and I see that you (without really saying it) infer that perhaps Sixsmith didn’t score? Is there something I’m missing. In the post you applaud his and the entire 3rd line with their effort then you carefully add a questionable tone to the wording??? I didn’t see the game and this is why I ask. I think the 3rd and 4th lines never get the credit they deserve and you did a great job but then you almost tried to take it back I believe that most of them could step in and fill the skates of the 1st and second liners. They get limited playing time which equates to limited points and are often criticized for that. However Capuano has high hopes for them which is really apparent with the Sixsmith-Haskins-Nikoforov line (although the jury is still out on Nikoforov. He does a lot of skating in circles with no plan). Capuano is grooming the future with them. Hopefully they will stick around. Regardless of your response I want to thank you for you’re frankness and no matter what I will continue to read your articles. .
