EDMONTON OILERS-Fired Springfield (AHL) coach Jeff Truitt. Named Rod Daum coach of Springfield for the remainder of the season.
Thanks ,I did not know that about the contracts.I always thought signed is signed with regaurds to that scenario
I keep coming up with 47 (27 up, 17 here, three in Utah), though NHLscap.com points out Ogorodnikov and Figren – not sure if they are still/already on the list.
But if you’re thinking about those kinds of signings, don’t forget that, as long as the contract begins with next season, it doesn’t count toward this year’s 50.
Mike ,
Do u have idea how many players the Islands have under contract? With the 50 contract rule I would like to have a idea with how much leeway the Isles have to manuver college signings and draftee signings.
Thanks in advance.
