Funny how these mirror the results of the booster club awards.
Pete, that’s a fair assessment of Pitton. I’m sure he will not be retained by the Islanders after this season, simply for the reasons you stated. Besides, they have a handful of players who can do the exact same thing Pitton has done,but are better at it. [ie Haley, Morency, Haskins etc…]
Mike quick question about Pitton. Do you think he has just regressed in his progress over the last couple of years because of injuries or do u think he has plateau`d as a AHL role player?
He is also the kind of player that needed to bring it everynight because he wasnt overly talented. He seemed to take tons of shifts off when he was healthy. Almost like he needed to take a hit or 2 to wake up from a slumber.
