I was thinking the IceCaps might take a look at him, but not now. No prima donnas please
Have read that the Rampage have been interested in Combs. Couldn’t tell you whether that extends to Florida.
Not much, I guess! For someone who was on a PTO & then signed SPC, how much time was Costello expecting? If memory served, the Tigers were short forwards and needed bodies. Was it frustration of falling from a playoff spot? Remember years ago, that some players wanted to be assigned to the ECHL then stay in Bridgeport because their teams were in the playoffs. Were the Florida Panthers interested in Jack Combs to ask for a trade?
I do think 36 points will get Bridgeport in the playoffs.
Just asking for your opinion, as a person who covers this team. How much vailidity do you give Costello’s comments?
Not cool. I didn’t think Scott Pellerin as a “John Tortorella” clone! It will be interesting to see if any organization thinks he’s “ready for the NHL”. Having not seen him play, I can’t compare him to the other Tigers. If he is good as he says he is, he should get another AHL contract very soon.
