just amazes me how this team and Islanders don’t play hard all game!!! It’s the entire coaching structure, IMO! Wang (he won’t) needs to clean house from Snow down. Start NEW! and yes, those will say Isles came back.. but overall it’s not fun to watch your team lose leads in the 3rd.. SMH! happy easter!
Both of these games, S’Tigers & Islanders, are evidence of a larger systematic issue. These players in the Islander’s organization do not know how to win a hockey game with a lead. Their leads are ALWAYS precarious. Any little thing that happens in a game i.e., a close penalty call, and they lose focus and rarely recover. The coaching staff’s comments are consistantly excusing the play…”if we didn’t hit the post…if we got more bounces…we just have to keep pressing and we will get our chances,” etc. etc. etc. Teach these guys how to win instead of just how to play the system and you will see a massive improvement.
