It was a good run, but was disappointed that they didn’t make the 2nd round. Also annoyed that the local madia are blaming Nabokov for a sub-par performance. And was glad that a new deal wasn’t signed. Didn’t get to see the whole game in any in the series, but there were some dumb penalties taken and the Penguins capitalized. I don’t remember the last time an Islanders goalie “stood on his head”. Maybe Bill Smith. Nabokov was the team MVP this season. Anyways, does this mean Tim Thomas is the man next season?
