I’d typically mumble “why don’t you ask him” or something like that, but ah well. That disclaimer given: As a “depth” guy, Stevens seems better suited than Dal Colle, who’s going to be a top-(your preferred six or nine) type if he’s going to be anything. And that said, Dal Colle conceded his ups and downs last year and wanting all those usual bigger-stronger-faster things. We’ll see where he is.
Mike, Staple in his ‘Five Islanders Questions’ does not mention Dal Colle in his discussion of possible youth call-ups for the Isles, but he does mention John Stevens (as being the possible next forward beyond the ‘top’ three). After watching him all last year, is Dal Colle no longer a decent NHL prospect?
