Where do we go now

So one series is almost done; the other’s back even. The Pens are the even ones, with J.S. Aubin still out. They came from 2-1 down in the second and won 4-3. Two goals from the defense, and not the Goligoski kind, either: First playoff goals for Engelland and Lovejoy, who had only two goals apiece in the regular season. Meanwhile, Chicago beat Toronto and made it 3-0.

Chris Botta is still a-bloggin’, and a-bloggin’ some awesome stuff. If you’re not on the feed, well, come on.

Kelly Cup Final begins Saturday. Ump, you wanna keep us updated? Without Kevin Colley involved, I’m just not feeling it.

J.R. is back for another year. Reporters rejoice.

“Sweet Child o’ Mine” is on the Fairfield Prep lacrosse warmup tape. Ouch. This was not the day for that. Meanwhile, Mike Piazza is retired, which feels weird. I can still remember T.J. Horesco telling us in March 1993 about this kid in the Dodgers’ system who was going to be the next great catcher. Good call, T.J.

Jane Espenson has Ringo’s clothes.

And finally, Emmys for Robert Sean Leonard and Anne Dudek, huh?
