A Yalie (not that one): Just got word that Joe Callahan will round out the defense. Big right-hander had a good year for Portland after signing with Anaheim last year. He counts as a veteran (actually, he’s under 320, so they could still have three spots to play with). Fits the summer’s MO so far: good pro, no NHL experience, but they may change that at some point this year.
Still a forward to come, no doubt.
