Saturday Night, Live

Wearing the C tonight in place of Pascal: Andrew MacDonald. Sertich (who’s got an AHL deal sealed; he’d been on an ECHL+tryout gig) and Hart are wearing A’s.

Scott Clemmensen for the Diablos. Feels like old times and Albany.

End 1: No, not posting running. Just in spurts. 2-1 LOW end of 1. Nikiforov appeared to lose the puck making his last move on a penalty shot. Konkle scored the first goal off a pretty feed from Fuller, across the goal line. Lowell came back two and a half minutes later on some kind of wraparound or something (down at the other end; as noted before, it’s not much fun watching the game here, from where we are). And then just 34 seconds later Lowell scored again (ditto). The sheet has Mills and DiSalvatore with Lowell’s goals. (It also has Hart with Bridgeport’s, but…) Shots Bridgeport 9-4; I thought it felt a bit moreeven than that.

End 2: 4-3 BPT. Joensuu keeps doing good things. Sweet pass set up the third goal. He can skate better than his rep last year. Physical. Could be interesting. Meanwhile, people keep standing in front of me. First B goal was a Gleed point shot; maybe deflected, maybe a rebound. Hennigar appeared to get one that went off Clemmensen and trickled inside the left post. Not as many penalties as the last couple of games, but still. Mid-period, Joel Rechlicz was shoving with Michael Swift; Marc jumped in.

And that’s it: Lawson stops them all again, and it finishes 4-3. Goal and assist apiece for Joensuu, Nikiforov and Gleed.
