What's a "goal"?

It will surely not surprise you that, during Bridgeport’s seven-game struggle to score, players don’t have very pretty offensive numbers.

g-that one point is a goal. t-scored two points in that one game. Parentheses in the final column indicate he only played that many of the seven games.

(Pitton played the first two games of the stretch, scoring the last goal in his last game before getting hurt. Sixsmith scored the other goal, his only point in four games in this stretch and his only point in 12 Bridgeport games. Colliton has played the last three games without a point. Morency has played four games in this streak without a point; Fritz and Packard have both played five, but neither has an AHL point yet this season. Lessard and Haley have both missed the entire seven-game stretch with injuries. Jordan Hart just showed up. )

Tyler Haskins is the only Sound Tiger with a two-point game in the past seven games. In the past 12 games, back to Jan. 9, there have been only five two-point Sound Tigers nights; Smith had a pair, Joensuu had one and Walter had one. They’re 4-8 in those 12 games, scoring only 19 goals.
