More: Moore, Moulson

So the Sound Tigers swipe Hartford’s captain: Greg Moore and former Manchester forward Matt Moulson are signed, the team announced tonight. (Mauldin and Flood were also formally announced.)

Moore, a Maine product all the way around, has 49 goals in the past two AHL seasons, brings size and sense. Moulson (Cornell, and I’m just gonna add a category for this) brings some offense, too, scoring as many as 28 in the AHL.

Edit while we’re here:

While announcing a bunch of stuff we’d seen already, including Peter Mannino, the Thrashers announced that Joel Kwiatkowski has come back from Russia.

Colorado re-signed a bunch of their own free agents but has added Darren Haydar, too.

This team has so many forwards it looks like Haskins may be done with the Isles franchise.
That is a bummer the kid is all heart and if he were 2 inches taller and 20 or 30 pounds heavier he would be a 3rd or 4th line NHL grinder.

Hopefully Moore can regain his scoring touch of 2 years ago and Moulson will probably be up and down more then the stock market

Remains a free agent, barring something late-breaking…
