Good problems to have, etc.: Hartford pregame 2

John Persson back in, C.J. Stretch out tonight. “We’ve got a lot of good players,” Thompson said. That, they do. Kael Mouillierat moves back to the middle for Stretch as Persson moves into Mouillierat’s spot. The third and fourth lines, both effective last night, remain intact.

One to scratch each way. Pedan did take the rushes; don’t think Stamler did. Hartford’s three vets who sat out last night are back in. Tomas Kaberle’s out as expected, along with Chris Bourque and Chris Mueller. Only one line, then (Ryan Bourque-J.T. Miller-Stamford’s Own Ryan Haggerty), remains the same. Dallas Jackson back to defense.

Curiosity with the PIMs last night. They announced 2+5 to Gallant and to Vaive. The box just has the majors. It “matters” because with the extra two, Gallant would tie Micheal Haley for second on Bridgeport’s all-time list with 639. Eric Godard leads at 705. Last night was Gallant’s 150th as a Sound Tiger. Godard played 195 games; Haley, 247.
