Round 15: Penguins pregame

Remember where you were 14 years ago tonight? You were at the first home game in Sound Tigers history. You know, assuming you were.

Bridgeport’s success against the Penguins in recent years has been limited. (Actually, Bridgeport’s success against a lot of teams in recent years… well, you know.) The Pens have won their last five trips in, including one in a shootout. The Sound Tigers’ team-record winless streak at home against one opponent is six, an 0-5-0-1 over the course of 13 months, 2006-07, against Hartford.

Attempting to avoid that fate: a half a roster of new faces, starting goalie Christopher Gibson among them, and a lineup with a versatility that Brent Thompson likes. On the other side: That Matt Murray dude. One to scratch for the Pens; looked like Ruopp, so just one change at fourth-line center for them.
