Tonight on the coast, in the same town where Bartolo actually homered, Justin Auger scored 11:55 into overtime to give Ontario a 2-1 win at San Diego, giving the Reign a 2-0 series lead.
Forgot last night about the start of the Worlds. You could maybe understand that, what with Canada running away from the U.S. in the tourney opener. The Americans came back today with a a 6-3 win over Belarus; likely first-overall draft pick Auston Matthews had two goals and an assist. Next up for the Americans is Finland on Monday afternoon at 1:15 (NBCSN).
