Live from a sorta-surreal, dark-concourses, mostly empty XL Center (though the music just started with 10 minutes or so to warmup)…
The new rink is good to go, evidently. The top of the dasherboards is red now instead of blue, which was blink-worthy on first walking in. (Shipping and receiving, where we come in, was overhauled completely, which was utterly confusing.)
We’ll try not to overtweet it, then recap here at some point after the game (may drive home first, depending how many stares we get/timing).
Here’s Bridgeport’s expected lineup; will add Hartford’s when I get ‘er figured out. Expecting a split in net for Bridgeport.
