Reconvening: Thursday notes

Today’s practice at Harbor Yard included full participation for both John Stevens and Tanner Fritz. Brent Thompson said he’s expecting Stevens to be available for the weekend, a third try at his season debut; Fritz, he said, is still day-to-day.

Since we last assembled, Boston has recalled Zane McIntyre, Jordan Szwarz and Austin Czarnik from the P-Bruins. Who’s dizzy?

The Sound Tigers are again taking part in Movember.

Worcester’s doing Slap Shot Night on Saturday.

Sacred Heart, 2-6 despite those couple of big wins over UConn and Notre Dame, is home Saturday and Sunday afternoons for Canisius. Connecticut Whale’s on the road at Boston this weekend but home at Terry Conners next weekend for the Riveters.

And tip of cap to the Astros, including a couple of Connecticut boys, but especially to Carlos Beltran.
