No Sound Tigers were picked for the All-Star Game.
OK, so Tanner Fritz and Sebastian Aho were picked, but do you see them on Bridgeport’s roster? Yeah.
Obviously the Big Club can send them down for the weekend if they’re still up, and the league can replace them with another Sound Tiger if they’re both up, or out, or whatever if it comes to that, but we’ll see what the situation is at that point. Still three weeks away.
Good on Scotty Mayfield, getting a five-year extension done with the Islanders.
Stockton called up ex-Sound Tigers forward Darren Nowick from the Mavericks. Nowick’s 55 last year is the highest number a Sound Tigers skater has worn in the past two seasons.
