While you were out: Tuesday notes

That day got long…

–Was hoping to meet Linus Soderstrom, but he wasn’t on the ice today; not wanting to push him as he recovers from his last-season-ending shoulder injury. Josh Ho-Sang and Parker Wotherspoon also weren’t out there today.

We still talked to a few other people today and should have a couple of other stories during the week.

–Walked in this morning and heard Brent Thompson but didn’t see him right awHOLY cro. (In response to the first thing I could think of, Jamie Palatini says what we’re all thinking.)

–Whole Bridgeport coaching staff was there, Eric Boguniecki, Matt Carkner on the ice, John Vazzano upstairs; Bernie Cassell, Chris Terreri among those out there as well. (Trainer Dave Stickney was let go in the springtime; they’re working on a decision on a replacement.)

Elsewhere, Hershey hires Spencer Carbery.

And among those going to the Hall of Fame: sorta-local boy Marty St. Louis, and the legendary Willie O’Ree.
