Speaking of places I miss: Walked into the New Haven Register building on Thursday for the first time in 25 years — different building, but still — to find the imploding Coliseum on the cover, which kinda took my breath away. (Sean Bowley said there’s a room full of headshots of former Register employees, and I am desperately angry I missed it this time.)
UConn updated its hockey coaching staff, including naming West Haven’s Joe Pereira associate coach.
The new U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame class includes Red Berenson, Natalie Darwitz, Hago Harrington, David Poile and Paul Stewart.
