Little tea leaves: Tuesday notes

Hectic high schools day, so quick-hitty here: Similar lineup today to yesterday, though Josh Ho-Sang was on the power play, which might imply he’s in, but Brent Thompson wasn’t committing to a darn thing. We’ll try to read the tea leaves some more on Thursday, when they next skate. Hershey will be in, too.

AHLTV has playoff packages available.

Patrick McGrath got three games for his check to Ben Holmstrom’s head. One game has been served; two more to come.

Start the chart: Keith McCambridge won’t be back in Hartford, nor will Joey Mormina.

Mitch Vande Sompel’s cousin Jacob Bryson signed with Buffalo; he’ll join Rochester, maintaining his level of Thompson Teammate at one. The Thompson Teammate he had at Providence made a big move up the Central Scouting rankings; Tyce is now 83rd among North American skaters. Darien’s Spencer Knight remains the top North American goalie. (And digging to the end, yesterday I learned there are two Jack Rings of similar age in New England playing hockey at a high level. The one ranked is not the one from Guilford.)

Yet another Sutter in the pros: Riley joins Hershey.

RIP, Georgia Engel.

And RIP, New Haven legend Don Perry. (One of my favorite quotes of all time is his, and Paul used it in the obit.)
