Jack Capuano said before the skate that he’s “leaning toward” Nathan Lawson for tonight. Nothing in the skate made it appear that he’ll lean the other way; Lawson defended Bridgeport’s goal and was first off the ice by several minutes.
No other changes expected. Nothing appeared unusual. Jake Gannon was here and skating.
Capuano had nothing to add to the Islanders’ decision to call up Mikko Koskinen. Hopefully we’ll find Garth Snow tonight and see what the boss has to say.
