Backs to the Giant Center wall

For what it’s worth, Sunday’s game broke another unhappy Bridgeport streak: The Sound Tigers had lost their last five games when facing elimination. They won their first, Game 7 against Hamilton, then lost Game 5 to Chicago, Game 6 to Binghamton, Games 7 against Wilkes-Barre (2004 and ’06) and Game 5 against the Penguins. They’ll have to go all 1975-Islanders to even that record out. Well, they’re dressed appropriately for that, anyway.

(They have also lost five in a row when they can eliminate a team. Surely it will be a thrill just to get back to that situation this year.)

Same 20 for Bridgeport as the Sound Tigers try for two in a row. Hershey just swaps Miskovic for Lewis, as Tim had them in yesterday’s practice.

Speaking of the unlikely, there’s a Fordham quarterback who’s gonna be drafted? That’s like saying you’ve got a defensive end at Columbia who… wait a sec.
